CHOCOLATE BISCUIT PUDDING

Chocolate Biscuit Pudding is a quick dessert made using simple ingredients found around the kitchen that tastes excellent. This dessert is ideal for those last-minute sweet cravings or unexpected company at home because it is simple to prepare while still looking fancy.

 
Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk

  • 5 tbsp corn flour

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 10-15 digestive biscuits

 

Method
  1. Add milk to a pan and heat. Keep ¼ cup of milk aside to make a corn flour slurry.

  2. Mix together corn flour with the milk that was kept aside.

  3. Stir in the cocoa powder, sugar and corn flour mix to the heated milk.

  4. Quickly stir, bringing the milk to a boil to create a thick pasty texture.

  5. Crush the biscuits and spread in a deep dish to create one layer.

  6. Pour the hot pudding mix on the crushed biscuits and layer in similar manner

  7. Layer the topmost layer with pudding mixture and refrigerate for minimum of 30 min-1 hour or until set completely

  8. Demold, dust with cocoa powder on top and serve.

 
Quick tip

Experiment by adding different toppings or flavours or biscuits to create a unique pudding.
