A simple, “café-style” upgraded version of Korean Ramyeon that you can make in about 10 minutes

Ingredients (1 serving)
1 pack instant ramyeon (any flavor, but spicy works best)
2 cups water (or as per packet)
1 slice cheese (processed cheese or mozzarella)
3–5 frozen dumplings (optional but very popular upgrade)
1–2 tbsp chopped spring onion
1 tsp soy sauce (optional, for extra depth)
½ tsp butter (optional, for richness)
Chili flakes or extra sauce from seasoning packet (optional)
Method
1. Boil the base
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot. Add the noodles and cook for about 2 minutes.
2. Add dumplings (if using)
Drop in frozen dumplings while noodles are cooking. Let them simmer until fully heated through.
3. Season it
Add the ramen seasoning packet. Stir well so the broth becomes flavorful and slightly thickened.
4. Build Richness
Lower the heat. Let the broth slightly reduce for 1–2 minutes so it becomes more concentrated and rich.
5. Add cheese
Place a slice of cheese on top and let it melt into the broth for that creamy “Korean café” style texture.
6. Finish
Add chopped spring onions, a small knob of butter, and optional chili flakes for extra heat.

Pro Tips (for café-style feel)
Let the cheese melt without stirring too much at first—this creates that stretchy, aesthetic layer.
Serve in a deep bowl and top with extra spring onions for visual contrast.Add Kimchi on the side for a Korean Street Food feel.
For egg lovers, crack an egg in before adding the cheese.
