TAAPSEE WRAPS UP ‘GANDHARI’

Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming revenge drama Gandhari, directed by Devashish Makhija and produced by Kanika Dhillon, has officially wrapped filming, promising a story that pushes creative boundaries

Production banner Kathha Pictures announced that the shoot for the highly anticipated film Gandhari, starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead, has been completed. The revenge drama, directed by Devashish Makhija and produced and written by Kanika Dhillon, has been described as a challenging yet rewarding project by the team. 

Taapsee Pannu, who plays the titular role, opened up about the demanding nature of the film, stating, “Gandhari is the film that has been not just mentally but physically demanding. We tried to achieve so much against all odds, which wouldn’t have been possible if the entire team was not aligned together and driven enough to complete this film at breakneck speed. We have pushed the envelope a bit with this film.” 

Kanika Dhillon, the producer and writer, echoed Taapsee’s sentiments, calling the experience both enriching and challenging. She shared, “Gandhari has been both an enriching and challenging experience for us. It’s a heroic story that I am extremely proud of. Taapsee has put her heart and soul into the film, as has the entire team. We can’t wait to bring it to audiences.”
