RAJKUMMAR RAO TEAMS UP WITH DINESH VIJAN FOR PRAHAAR

Rajkummar Rao and producer Dinesh Vijan are joining forces once again for Prahaar – The Ujjwal Nikam Story, a drama inspired by events that left a lasting mark on the nation.

Set for a theatrical release on 7 August 2026, the film is directed by Avinash Arun and centres on the life and work of renowned public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, whose involvement in some of India's most high-profile cases made him a prominent figure in the country's legal landscape.

Rao leads the cast alongside Wamiqa Gabbi, Sikander Kher and Jaideep Ahlawat, all of whom play key roles in the film. Produced by Maddock Films, Prahaar promises to explore the human stories, legal battles and defining moments behind some of the country's most significant cases.

The project marks another collaboration between Rao and Vijan, whose previous partnerships have delivered several notable films, and adds a hard-hitting courtroom drama to Maddock Films' growing slate of releases.
