After years of conquering global screens, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is ready to reclaim her place in Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s Globetrotter—a project the actor believes could mark a transformative new chapter in her career. Ahead of the film’s grand launch at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, she connected with fans through an #AskPCJ session on X, sharing candid insights, heartfelt reflections, and a few delightful behind-the-scenes moments.

When a fan asked whether Globetrotter signals her “grand return to Indian cinema or a whole new PCJ era,” Priyanka responded with her trademark humility and optimism, “Hopefully a new era and my return to Indian films. I'm not sure. But I know it will be incredible.”

Her last Indian project was the acclaimed 2019 film The Sky is Pink; since then, she has dominated Hollywood with titles like The Matrix Resurrections, Love Again, Heads of State, and the global action thriller series Citadel. Now, stepping into Rajamouli’s universe alongside Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and the versatile Prithviraj Sukumaran, Priyanka seems poised to create yet another milestone.

Fans expressed how much they missed seeing her in Indian cinema, to which she replied with heartfelt gratitude, “By God’s grace. I'm hoping to be able to do the best work I can around the world. With all your support it feels like anything is possible.”

Despite being early in the filming process, her experience in the Telugu film industry has already left an impression. When a user asked how she’s finding it, Priyanka shared,“It's still early days for me on the movie but it's been Adiri poyindi (super)!! Also, the biryani is the best in the world in Hyderabad.”

Even the linguistic challenge hasn’t dampened her spirit. On delivering Telugu dialogues, she admitted, “It's obviously not my first language but Rajamouli sir has been so helpful. I will be able to deliver my Telugu lines and live up to your expectations.”In another response, she emphasised her love for languages, saying,“I love languages but just grew up with English and Hindi. My films have given me so much exposure to languages around the world.”

Her daughter, Malti Marie, also seems to be enjoying the journey. When asked whether the little one visited the set, Priyanka delighted fans by sharing,“My daughter has been to set in Hyderabad and she had the best time with Mahesh Babu and Namrata's beautiful daughter Sitara and went to Rajamouli sir’s farm and met a calf.”

Speaking of her co-star Mahesh Babu, she showered admiration, calling him both a legend and a friend, “The best way to join Telugu cinema is to do it with the greats! Mahesh is a legend and a dear friend.”

Even with all her accomplishments, Priyanka remains hungry for more. When asked about her next life goal, she offered a glimpse of her relentless ambition, “My Gosh. I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface. So much more I want to do and achieve. Hopefully I can.”

With Globetrotter being Rajamouli’s first project after the global phenomenon RRR, expectations are sky-high. The promotional journey begins on 15 November with a spectacular event at Ramoji Film City, promising exclusive reveals and an inside look into one of the most anticipated films in contemporary Indian cinema.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is back—and her homecoming looks nothing short of iconic.
