PATRALEKHAA CALLS OUT BODY SHAMING

Actor-producer Patralekhaa has spoken out against paparazzi pages for commenting on her appearance after she recently gave birth. The backlash came after she attended the premiere of her debut production venture Toaster with husband Rajkummar Rao, months after welcoming their daughter in November 2025.

 Responding to the trolling, Patralekhaa shared a note on Instagram Stories, writing, “Pap pages! What’s happened to me is that I have just given birth. Yes I have gained the weight, which seems like an unnatural phenomenon to you all. I have not sat and eaten a mountain, I just delivered a baby and produced two films simultaneously which are not easy jobs.”

 She further explained that her body’s changes were not in her control, adding, “If I could I would not be this way. But that’s how my body has reacted to pregnancy.” She ended her message with an appeal for empathy, saying, “For God’s sake please learn to be a little kind.”

Toaster, a dark comedy starring Rao, is the first project produced by the couple under their banner Kampa Film. Their next venture, Raftaar, will feature Rao alongside Keerthy Suresh.
