Veteran actor-politician Hema Malini has shared an emotional homage to her late husband Dharmendra, calling him “everything” — a partner, guide, friend, and the irreplaceable centre of her world.

In her first message since his passing, she wrote, “My personal loss is indescribable and the vacuum created is something that will last through the rest of my life.”The 77-year-old shared cherished photographs, holding on to decades of memories and moments.

Remembering the legendary actor beyond the screen, she said, “He was many things to me… Loving husband, adoring father, friend, philosopher, guide — my go-to person in all times of need.”

Dharmendra’s warmth, humility and effortless charm touched her family deeply. “He endeared himself to all my family members with his easy, friendly ways,” she wrote.

Celebrating his unmatched stature in Indian cinema, Malini added, “His enduring fame and achievements will last forever… a unique icon unparalleled among legends.”
