Australian cricketer David Warner makes his acting debut in Telugu film Robinhood, starring Nithiin and Sreeleela, with an “exciting cameo”.

Australian cricketer David Warner, known for his explosive batting and love for Telugu cinema, has stepped into the world of acting with his debut in director Venky Kudumula’s action-entertainer Robinhood. The film, starring Nithiin and Sreeleela in lead roles, features Warner in a special cameo, adding a unique touch to the project. 

Warner, a self-proclaimed fan of Indian cinema, shared the announcement and his first look from the film on social media, sparking excitement among fans. The producers, Mythri Movie Makers, also took to X (formerly Twitter) to welcome Warner, stating, “After shining and leaving a mark on the ground, it is time for him to shine on the silver screen. Introducing the widely loved David Warner to Indian Cinema with Robinhood in an exciting cameo.” 

Fans were quick to react to the news, with one commenting, “Holy Smokes! Not picked by the IPL teams, but bro gave a movie debut.” Another fan joked, “I request an Aadhaar card to be given to David Warner ASAP!” while a third eagerly wrote, “Count me in First day first show for David bhai.”
