Aamir Khan brought charm and emotion to the trailer launch of Loveyapa, a film that holds a special place in his heart.

The event was particularly poignant for the superstar, as the film stars two promising newcomers—his son Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the iconic Sridevi. Aamir, a lifelong admirer of the late actress, shared, “I’ve been Sridevi ji’s biggest fan. It was always my dream to act with her. Watching Khushi on screen feels like seeing Sri again. Wherever she is, I know she’s proud of you.”

Held at the same theatre where Aamir’s debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak premiered, the launch was steeped in nostalgia. The actor blessed the young stars, saying, “I pray for both of you. May the film touch hearts and achieve great success.”

Khushi Kapoor, visibly emotional, refrained from elaborating on her feelings but said, “I really am very emotional at this moment. But I don’t want to talk about it.”

Directed by Advait Chandan and adapted from the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today, Loveyapa explores the intricacies of modern relationships. With its fresh narrative, the film resonates deeply with Gen Z, making it an anticipated release for Valentine’s season on 7 February 2025.

Aamir also took the opportunity to share his thoughts on love and personal growth. Reflecting on his experiences, he remarked, “True love begins with loving and valuing yourself. Only then can you hold someone else’s heart with care. Over time, my understanding of love has evolved. It’s about finding your soulmate, someone who feels like your better half.”

Displaying his trademark candour, Aamir quipped, “I’m a very romantic person. Ask both my ex-wives if you don’t believe me!” He also offered advice to the younger generation: “Don’t ignore red flags in relationships. Wise decisions now will shape your future.”
