Nearly a decade after it first arrived in cinemas, Sachin: A Billion Dreams is enjoying a remarkable second innings. The documentary-drama about cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is currently the number one trending documentary film on Amazon Prime Video, clocking up more than 18,000 viewing hours in just nine days.

Produced by Ravi Bhagchandka under the 200NotOut Cinemas banner alongside Carnival Motion Pictures, the documentary offers an intimate look at Tendulkar's journey from a young cricket prodigy to one of the most celebrated sportsmen in history. Its resurgence on streaming suggests that the film continues to strike a chord with audiences, while also finding new fans among younger viewers.

Reflecting on the renewed interest, Bhagchandka said the film was always intended to serve as a lasting record of Tendulkar's extraordinary legacy.
